Since I've been playing the harp for a couple of years I was rather skeptic that I should learn much from Blues harmonica Jam Tracks & Soloing Concepts #1. But I didn't need to worry - because this book is the most pedagogic book I've read about how you think when you play a solo. Together with some basic blues theory David Barrett teaches ,measure by measure, how a 12 bar solo is build and gives a lot of examples of licks. There are many good solos to practice and the book comes with a great CD to practice to. After studying this book I've learned much more than I knew before about the way I can build my own solos. I'm really looking forward to by the next book in this series. Henrik from Sweden
